Botox done Badly

It has become my obsession to scrutinize celebrity photographs for evidence of overdone Botox, and it usually is not that difficult to spot them. To me, there is just as much to not like as there is to like about Botox when done badly. While beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, as we have become more comfortable with Botox, our approach to how it is administered also has evolved. Like big hair and big glasses, some day we will look back at this era as the era of facial distortions brought on by the use of Botox. The dragon look or Vulcanization of the brow line is one example.

Our goal at the Center for Facial Plastic Surgery and Laser Skin Care is to create a natural look. We will soften the look of lines on the forehead and eye area, but not paralyze to the extent of creating a strange appearance. We may elect to gently sculpt a brow line but not create unnecessary drama. I do this by using several different titration of Botox, and with a discerning eye so as to create gradual lift. I prefer to bring clients back a second time for a little tweaking rather than over do it in the first session.

It takes time and precision to administer inject ables appropriately. I don't believe in short cuts. I mark my injection sites with erasable markers for more accuracy and precision. There is a certain degree of artistry as well, and some have it while others may not. The Center for Facial Plastic Surgery and Laser Skin Care is a physician directed program, Dr Arthur Falk, does all the injectables, I do not rely on nurses or technicians for this procedure.
